About the contributor(s)

Gabby Dawnay is a children’s writer, scriptwriter, and poet. She has been poet-in-residence for the children’s art and science magazine OKIDO since 2007 and coadapted and developed the magazine for children’s television, where it became a hit CBeebies animated preschool show Messy Goes to OKIDO! She has written for the American-British series Rhyme Time Town from DreamWorks, the British animated series Postman Pat, and several other animated series including a Chinese animated series.

Native to Bulgaria, Mona K is passionate about drawing quirky faces and exploring the woods. Based in the Netherlands, she spends her time dabbling in arts and design, creating crafts with a purpose, and occasionally baking cake-like goods.
