“This series offers solid glimpses of faraway places, more poetry than a tour guide . . . evocative and inviting” – School Library Journal
Mbote! Betuabu! Jambo! Come along for a day in DR Congo. Count the fish at the market, watch the cheeky bonobos, and finish the day with a story. Congolese author Nyoko and illustrator Avelino draw on their lived experiences to create this playful board book, which features educational endnotes, as part of the Our World series for very young readers.
